We Stand Behind Our Work: 90-Day Limited Workmanship Warranty

At Alumapro, we take pride in the quality of every weld and repair we perform—especially on tough, high-abuse heavy equipment like shears, buckets, excavator attachments, and Hardox wear kits. To give you confidence in our work, we offer this straightforward 90-day limited workmanship warranty on all our welding and installation services.

What This Warranty Covers

  • Defects in our welding workmanship (e.g., issues like incomplete fusion, porosity, or cracking directly caused by poor weld quality—not from external factors).

  • Installation-related workmanship defects on parts we welded or fitted (e.g., the Hardox wear kit coming loose due to a weld failure under normal intended use).

If a covered defect is identified and proven within 90 days from the date of job completion, we will repair it at no charge for our labor. We'll work with you promptly to inspect and fix it (typically at your site or ours, depending on the equipment). This is our way of standing behind the prep, preheat, technique, and quality we deliver at our $135/hr rate.

What This Warranty Does NOT Cover (Important Exclusions) Heavy equipment like shears takes extreme daily abuse—impact from rocks/metal, flexing, abrasion, operator error, overloading, lack of greasing, or improper use. We build strong, but we can't warranty against real-world punishment. This warranty excludes:

  • Normal wear and tear on materials (e.g., Hardox plates wearing through or thinning as designed).

  • Abrasion, gouging, or material failure from heavy use.

  • Impact damage, cracking from shock loads, or deformation from misuse/abuse.

  • Issues caused by improper operation, lack of maintenance, alteration by others, or failure to follow manufacturer guidelines (e.g., SSAB Hardox welding/preheat specs).

  • Any consequential damages, downtime, lost profits, or secondary repairs.

  • Replacement Hardox plates, other materials, or consumables—these remain your responsibility if needed for a repair.

How It Works

  • Warranty starts on the job completion date (noted on your invoice/work order).

  • Notify us in writing (email/text/call) within the 90 days with photos/details of the issue.

  • We'll inspect (often free or low-cost if it's nearby in area) to confirm if it's a workmanship defect.

  • Valid only for the original customer and the specific equipment repaired.

  • We keep photos/documentation of the work for reference.

This limited warranty is our commitment to quality mobile welding in Alberta's heavy equipment world—where jobs see real abuse every shift. It's workmanship-only (labor-focused) to keep things fair and realistic. For questions or to review your specific job, reach out anytime.
